After I had paid I realised I recognised the Doctor from somewhere and then dawned on me it was from the now closed Herbal Inn shop which was further up Gloucester Road toward Palace Gate. I had an acupuncture treatment there which was first class and the Doctor confirmed that the healing hands of Dr Shirley were indeed available at this shop. This was a great find for me but today I just needed a massage.

My room was small but adequately furnished with clothes hooks and a chair stripped and covered myself with the towel provided and there were the customary knock and the door and on me confirming to being ready my therapist entered and introduced herself as Lola. I looked up in the dim light but it was the same Lola as MegStar but similarly looked to come from a strong stock and I think she said her family was in the agriculture business in China.
Anyway, Lola put some relaxing music and began massaging me over the towel using no oil as is common place in these types of shop. Very good she was too and after about 15 mins she applied some baby oil and I must say her massage skill was very competent indeed. Then was asked to turn and the same modus operandi was used.

After the massage, I was cleaned up with hot towels and left to relax and get dressed. This was good value for money for the area and the room and the therapist were fit for duty.

I will return soon to try another therapist and hopefully catch up with Dr Shirley who I haven't seen in a while.
This shop is on the same side of Gloucester Road as the tube station but the other side of the Cromwell Road past the bank and church
